MY STORY

I am so excited to help you on your journey to becoming a homeowner!

Joyce Hamilton

A Lynchburg native, I graduated from Rustburg High School and Lynchburg College (now the University of Lynchburg). Obtaining my real estate license in 1993, I was fortunate to work with many builders, buyers, sellers and investors over the next decade. In 2004, my family relocated out of state, but I continued to buy, build and invest in real estate. Returning to my hometown in 2020, I spent a few years learning the Property Management side of real estate and now manage over 30 residential rental properties for myself and business partners.

In August of 2022 I activated my real estate license and am so excited to get back to doing something I love! Advocating for my clients, negotiating opportunities and overseeing a smooth transaction to the closing are my core strengths. But what I really strive for is creating relationships that last a lifetime. It is so rewarding to speak with people I worked with in the 1990’s who still remember me and my core values of honesty, integrity and hard work.

I enjoy traveling, the Symphony, billiards and bowling. While out west, I was able to see much of the Rocky Mountains, the desert southwest, Canada, Mexico, Alaska, Hawaii and Honduras. In 2018, I was able to visit Paris, France. And I enjoyed four sailboat excursions in the British Virgin Islands and the Windward Islands. While in Colorado, I worked as the Marketing Director for the Steamboat Symphony, which renewed my affinity for classical music and the arts in general.

While in Utah, I raised funds for the restoration of the Historic Rockville Bridge, worked as the Deputy Town Clerk, served as the Planning Commission Chair, and thoroughly enjoyed living in a small, rural town of approximately 245 people just a few miles from Zion National Park.

I have lived an uncommon life and am happy to put those experiences to work for your benefit. Please call me for a free consultation regarding your real estate needs.
